Mental health care belongs to everyone.

Mental health care shouldn't depend on where you live, how much you earn, or how well you can navigate the system. We built Better You Therapy to close that gap — for residents in long-term care who fall through the cracks, for adults who can't get on a waitlist, and for therapists who want to do real clinical work without administrative drag.

Our Story

We started where the gap was widest.

Better You Therapy started with a single observation: residents in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities were going years without ever speaking to a mental health professional — not because they didn't qualify, but because no one was bringing care to them.

Medicare covered it. Therapists wanted to provide it. Facilities wanted residents to have it. But the logistics — credentialing, scheduling, billing, documentation — were standing in the way.

So we built the operating layer. Today, our licensed therapists provide weekly on-site care to residents across Southeast Florida and connect with adults and families statewide through teletherapy. Same clinical standard. Two paths to access.

How We Practice

Evidence-based, age-aware, integrated.

01 — METHOD
Evidence-based modalities, calibrated to the person.
CBT, ACT, trauma-informed care, and supportive therapy — selected based on the individual's needs, cognitive profile, and goals. Not a single method applied to everyone.
02 — TEAM
Licensed clinicians only — Psychologists, LCSWs, LMHCs, LPCs, LMFTs.
Every therapist on our team is fully licensed in the state of Florida. We credential, we verify, and we maintain ongoing clinical supervision and peer consultation.
03 — COORDINATION
Integrated with the rest of the care team.
For facility patients, we coordinate with nursing and wellness staff, share progress reporting, and align with treatment plans. For teletherapy clients, we communicate with primary care and psychiatry on request.
04 — ACCESS
No waitlist. First session this week.
