Last updated: September 2, 2026

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Better You Therapy LLC (“Better You Therapy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal information submitted through our website, getbetteryou.com (the “Website”). It applies only to information collected through the Website. It does not apply to information collected offline or through channels other than the Website.

This Privacy Policy addresses how we handle personal information only. It does not address the accuracy or reliability of educational content on the Website; your use of Website content is governed by our Terms of Service, including the medical and mental-health disclaimers and limitation-of-liability provisions there.

Note on health information: This Website policy is not our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. Protected health information created or received in connection with clinical care is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is provided to clients as part of intake. Please do not submit detailed health information through general Website forms.

2. Consent

By using the Website, you consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.

3. Information We Collect

When you submit a form on the Website (for example, a session request, facility inquiry, referral, or newsletter signup), we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, facility details, and the contents of your message. The reason we ask for information is stated at the point of collection.

If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information you choose to provide, such as attachments or message contents.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and schedule requested services;
  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Website;
  • Understand and analyze how visitors use the Website;
  • Communicate with you, including service updates and, where you have opted in, marketing communications such as our newsletter;
  • Find and prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

5. Log Files and Analytics

Like most websites, we use log files and analytics tools. Information collected may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider, date and time stamps, referring and exit pages, and click data. This information is used to analyze trends, administer the Website, and understand aggregate visitor behavior; it is not used to personally identify you.

We use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager) that set cookies and collect usage data on our behalf. These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

6. Cookies

The Website uses cookies to store visitor preferences and to optimize your experience. You can disable cookies through your browser settings; consult your browser’s documentation for instructions. Disabling cookies may affect some Website functionality.

7. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party service providers to operate the Website and manage inquiries (for example, website hosting, form processing, customer-relationship management, and email delivery). These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their functions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites we may link to. We advise you to consult the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

8. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements;
  • Object to or request restriction of certain processing;
  • Request a copy of your information in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Note that records related to clinical care are subject to separate retention requirements under Florida law and HIPAA and may not be eligible for deletion.

10. Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information submitted through the Website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain Website-submitted information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.

11. Children’s Information

The Website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 through the Website. If you believe a child has provided information through the Website, contact us and we will promptly remove it from our records. Clinical services for minors are arranged by a parent or legal guardian through our intake process, not through public Website forms.

12. SMS and Text Messaging

If you opt in to receive text messages from us, your mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
